Painting in the Dark

This was taking indoors with only two lights. One light was a blue glow stick and the other was a glow in the dark tooth brush that changed from green to red. For this photo I had my model sit as still as possible while I pained around him with the blue. I did put a 10 second timer on the picture so I would be able to get over near him and draw. I do like the swirly blue circle above the model, which i achieved by swinging the light around using the string that was attached.

Smokey 

After a long night, the cat finally settled down enough for me to get this photo. This photo is for my loved ones picture. I first tried to take a picture of my friend holding him, but I decided that it would look better if it was just him sitting on the bed. I converted this photo to a black and white with color, but I decided to include the blankets color because it added to the mojo look.

Strangers Portrait 

This is Tarren. Tarren is 4 years old and loves to hang out and play. I met Tarren last night when i went to a friends house, and asked if i could take his picture, and he was more than happy and couldn't stop asking about how i was tang the photo. He was very thankful when it was over because he was getting tired of the flash going off. This photo was actually taking in the morning when he was distracted. I like this photo more than the ones I took at night because this one doesn't have the harsh shadows, that were created by the flash.

Journal #12 Seeing Double

This was a composed picture of two photographs. I do like the picture, but if you look for a long ti,e you can see the indifference of the two horses. If I was to go back I would try to smooth out the edges to give it a better look. I also love how the pictures shadows worked.

Journal #11 A complete Surprise

In search for finding a photo for this weeks journal, I came across this picture that I took in September. I had completely forgot that I took this photo. I really like the angle that this photo has and the depth in color that the boards have. When looking at this photo you can really see the grains and textures in the wood and even in the grass in the lower right of the picture.

Action Photography Part 2

Pan Shot

About 30 minutes into this shot I was getting frustrated because I couldn't get the blur in the background but after many tries Ryan (my subject) showed me how to create a blurred shot by using the zoom. This shot is a zoom pan and I thing it turned out great, I do wish Ryan wasn't as blurry though.

Pan Shot 

It was very difficult to get this shot as I was struggling to get the blur in the background. It took many tries to get a shot where the background was blurry but the subject was clear. I love the coloring in the sky, the only photoshop used was to get the black circle around my subject.

Journal #10 A Different View

This was taken the other day before it got dark. I flipped this photo upside down. I love how the wires makes it look like your tight rope walking, and how it looks like your looking down on earth.
