Journal #15 Bejeweled Eye's

This shot was really hard to get because he wouldn't stop walking towards me, Uggggg. I kept laying on my stomach and I kept having to back up in order to get him, so I didn't have much time to focus on the shot. I then brought this picture into photoshop where I added a layer to increase the green in the eyes and nose. Then, I added a layer to that to kill the saturation a bit so the eyes could stand out and you would be drawn to them.

Journal #14 The Farm

The Farm across from the Tick center has much photo potential. This photo was taken in the fall while the leaves were still changing. Although I used photoshop to enhance the red in the barn, I did not do much of anything else. I like how this photo portrays the working life of a farm and how everything is cluttered and in a way neat. I also like how the photo is not grainy even though i took this photo from far away.

Night Time and People Part 2

Night Time Landscape
With this photo I turned it into an HDR. By turning it into an HDR the photo was brighter, and you are able to see more details. When i was out shooting, it was snowing so you can see some white blurs which are light from the flash I used being captured. Also with all the flashing and me merging the pictures together the light with each photo made the snow glow and almost have a yellow hue.

Aperture: f/5.6

Self Portrait
For this I flipped my curtains inside out to get a mostly white background. For this picture I was trying to portray how I sink into the background and how I mask myself. I also included the color in my pants because I love to play sports, and the color in my hair because I'm always changing how I look. I used a tripod and a 10 second timer. I also set up a full length mirror that was rested on the tripod, so I could see how i wanted to angle myself and look.

Aperture: f/9.0

Night Time City
This was taken on the go, in down town Brattleboro. I do admit I was scared to be out on the streets in the dark so I took this from my truck as I was at some stop lights. I wasn't sure if this would come out because I didn't use a tripod, but I took the chance anyways.

Candid Photo
This is a picture where the kids where watching cars go by as they waited for the bus to come to bring them to school. For this picture to work, my friend was driving while I raised my camera to take the shot. So they didn't see me I took the shot with out looking through the view finder, but set the lends to auto.

Journal #13 A flower

This was taken of fake flowers, even though they do look real. I love how the colors are so vibrant. I did not use any photoshop for this picture, even though if I were to go back I would probably go back and crop. The picture was also taken inside.
