Final Project :)

One of my final creations for my project in the style of. I like this photo because it looks as if the tree is coming to life. As for most of the pictures I took for this assignment, I used a film camera. For the aperture I used a fairly fast setting because although the focus point isn't blurry, you can see details in the trees behind.

Estimated Camera Settings:
Aperture: Fast
Shutter Speed: Fast
ISO 400

Second of my final creation for my project. I love how my hand looks like it has a frosted look to it and it makes me look very cold. Like the photographers style, I used a self portrait. I also used a digital camera for this photo.

Camera Settings:
Aperture: f/5.6
Shutter Speed: 1/640
ISO 400

Third Photo. I took this photo of a model and by the end he felt like his hands were going to fall off. This photo was taken with a film camera and was taken on a hill. I like that although this photo is simple it has a lot of detail.
Estimated Camera Settings:
Aperture: Fast
Shutter Speed: Fast
ISO 400

This was my recreation photo, and I think it came out amazing!! It took me two photos to create this image on photoshop, I also used a digital camera for this. Making this photo was very frustration and if I had to do it again I would of took a different approach.

Camera Settings:
Aperture: f/6.3
Shutter Speed: 1/6
ISO 200

Journal #16 Water Droplets

This was taken inside from a home made water fall, as part of a Horticulture project. To capture this photo I needed to use things I learned from past assignments. I didn't necessary use a slow shutter speed but I was still able to capture the water droplets.
Camera Settings:
Aperture: f/5.6
Shutter Speed: 1/60
ISO 400

Journal #15 Bejeweled Eye's

This shot was really hard to get because he wouldn't stop walking towards me, Uggggg. I kept laying on my stomach and I kept having to back up in order to get him, so I didn't have much time to focus on the shot. I then brought this picture into photoshop where I added a layer to increase the green in the eyes and nose. Then, I added a layer to that to kill the saturation a bit so the eyes could stand out and you would be drawn to them.
Camera Settings:
Aperture: f/5.6
Shutter Speed: 1/80
ISO 400

Journal #14 The Farm

The Farm across from the Tick center has much photo potential. This photo was taken in the fall while the leaves were still changing. Although I used photoshop to enhance the red in the barn, I did not do much of anything else. I like how this photo portrays the working life of a farm and how everything is cluttered and in a way neat. I also like how the photo is not grainy even though i took this photo from far away.

Camera Settings:
Aperture: f/5.6
Shutter Speed: 1/1000

Night Time and People Part 2

Night Time Landscape
With this photo I turned it into an HDR. By turning it into an HDR the photo was brighter, and you are able to see more details. When i was out shooting, it was snowing so you can see some white blurs which are light from the flash I used being captured. Also with all the flashing and me merging the pictures together the light with each photo made the snow glow and almost have a yellow hue.
Camera Settings:
Aperture: f/5.6
Shutter Speed: 20.0
ISO:110

Self Portrait
For this I flipped my curtains inside out to get a mostly white background. For this picture I was trying to portray how I sink into the background and how I mask myself. I also included the color in my pants because I love to play sports, and the color in my hair because I'm always changing how I look. I used a tripod and a 10 second timer. I also set up a full length mirror that was rested on the tripod, so I could see how i wanted to angle myself and look.
Camera Settings:
Aperture: f/9.0
Shutter Speed: 3.0
ISO 400

Night Time City
This was taken on the go, in down town Brattleboro. I do admit I was scared to be out on the streets in the dark so I took this from my truck as I was at some stop lights. I wasn't sure if this would come out because I didn't use a tripod, but I took the chance anyways.
Camera Settings:
Aperture: f/5.6
Shutter Speed: 1/8
ISO 400

Candid Photo
This is a picture where the kids where watching cars go by as they waited for the bus to come to bring them to school. For this picture to work, my friend was driving while I raised my camera to take the shot. So they didn't see me I took the shot with out looking through the view finder, but set the lends to auto.
Camera Settings:
Aperture: f/7.1
Shutter Speed: 1/160
ISO 800

Journal #13 A flower

This was taken of fake flowers, even though they do look real. I love how the colors are so vibrant. I did not use any photoshop for this picture, even though if I were to go back I would probably go back and crop. The picture was also taken inside.

Camera Settings:

Aperture: f/5.6
Shutter Speed: 1/640
