Journal #9 Leaping Lenny

This was my first attempt at action photography! I think it came out well, besides somethings being blurred. I used a tripod and a remote trigger, I used the setting where there was a two second delay, so I could actually press the button when I was jumping. Setting for this picture were:
Shutter Speed: 1/400
Aperture: f/32.0
ISO 1600

Journal #8 Frozen Capture

This photo was taken in Brattleboro after noon. I like this photo because the fence really sticks out like if it was frosted over. I also like how the one leave is popping with color while the others are a plain white. And how this photo portrays how the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence.
Aperture: f/7.1
Shutter Speed: 1/250
ISO 400

Land Scape Photography -- Part Two

Soft Water
Aperture: f/4.5
Shutter Speed: 1/40
ISO 400
Taken on 10/12/14 around noon. Location was at a brooke near my gramps place. Took me many tries to get this photo. I love how it looks like it was painted!

Close Up in Nature Vertical
Aperture: f/5.6
Shutter Speed: 1/60
ISO 400
Taken on 10/12/14 around 2pm. The lady bug was placed as well as the pumpkin to achieve the grass in the background instead of wood. The lady bug was very corruptive and patiently got its photo taken before flying away.

Close Up in Nature Horizontal
Aperture: f/5.6
Shutter Speed: 1/1600
ISO 400
Taken on 10/12/14 around 2pm. I climbed up a tree to capture this lone leaf, trying to hang on to the last of life.

Journal #7 Natural Framing

This photo was taken on 10/2/14 at 5:37pm.
Shutter speed 0.6
Aperture f/5.6
ISO 200
I really like this photo because it shows natural framing and it's something you don't see everyday. If I could retake this photo i would want to increase the Shutter speed, so its not as blurry, I would also want to get it at a different angle so more of the road is in the mirror, instead of the bed of my truck.

LandScape Photography -- Part one

HDR Sunrise
Aperture: f/14
Shutter Speed: 1/4000
ISO 400
This Photo was taken in Wilmington, VT at 6:27 Am. This was when the ground was still frosted over and the sun was just getting to its peak. I really like this photo because with the HDR their is a lot more detail and it looks very surrealistic.

HDR Foggy Pond
Aperture: f/16
Shutter Speed: 1/400
 ISO 400
This was taken in Wilmington, VT at 6:29 AM. This is also an HDR photo. I love how in this photo the fog makes it look ghostly and surrealistic.

Black & White Pond
Aperture: f/10
Shutter Speed: 1/160
 ISO 400
This was taken on your way to Bennington at 4:21 PM. I like how the black and white makes the details pop. This was a stormy/rainy day so their was many details in the clouds.

A truck out of Place

This was taken Saturday at the lake. I was just messing around with the angles. If i had more time i would probably run it through photo shop to change the contrast and balance out the colors.
ISO - 100, f/4.5, and 1/50
